Privacy policy

1. Who we are

PurposefulDeck (purposefuldeck.com) is run by WisdomDeep Digital (legal name: Vinith Joshua John; GSTIN: 32AIQPJ5334A1ZN), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India, which is responsible for your information. It places existing presentations into a client's PowerPoint template or your brand. For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].

2. What we collect

• Your account: your email address, your name if your sign-in provider shares it, and how you signed in (Google, Apple or an email link).
• Files you upload: decks, client templates, logos, font files, brand guides, and the colours, fonts and notes you enter.
• Conversion records: file names, slide counts, progress and results, the converted deck, slide previews and the report of what to check.
• Credits and payments: the packs you buy, amounts and PayPal order numbers. Card and bank details are handled by PayPal; we never see or store them.
• Ratings and comments you choose to give about a converted deck.
• Technical information: your IP address is used briefly to limit repeated sign-in emails, and Google Analytics records how the website is used (pages visited, device and browser, approximate location).

3. How we use it

• To convert your decks, show you the before-and-after check and let you download the result.
• To run your account, keep track of credits and take payments.
• To send sign-in emails. We don't send marketing emails.
• To prevent abuse and keep the service secure.
• To improve the product, using ratings and website usage. We never sell your information or your files.

4. How AI is used

Slides are placed into your template by fixed rules, not AI. Google's Gemini AI, through Google Cloud Vertex AI, is used for two things only: reading a brand guide or brand notes you provide, to suggest colours and fonts, and reading the printed numbers in column-chart pictures, so those charts can come back editable. A chart is only rebuilt when the numbers match the bars in the picture. AI never writes or rewrites your content, and Google does not use your files to train its models.

5. Who processes your information

We use these providers to run the service. Each only gets what it needs for its job:

• Google Cloud: hosting, file storage, the database and Gemini AI. Your files are stored in Google Cloud's Singapore region.
• PayPal: payments.
• Amazon Web Services (Simple Email Service): sending sign-in emails.
• Google and Apple: signing in, if you choose them.
• Google Analytics: website usage statistics.

6. How long we keep it

• Conversion files (your uploaded deck, the converted deck, previews and reports) are deleted automatically 30 days after the conversion finishes. You can delete them sooner from your dashboard at any time.
• Your saved brand kit (logo, fonts, brand guide) and the client templates you upload are kept so you can reuse them, until you ask us to delete them or close your account.
• Your account, credit and payment records are kept while your account is open, and payment records for as long as the law requires.
• Ratings and comments are kept to help us improve the product; they are deleted with your account.

7. Your choices and rights

• Delete any conversion and its files from your dashboard at any time.
• Ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything in it, by emailing [email protected]. We reply within 30 days.
• You can block Google Analytics with your browser's privacy settings or an ad blocker; the service still works.

8. Cookies and browser storage

• One sign-in cookie keeps you signed in for up to 14 days. The service doesn't work without it.
• Your browser stores your list of decks and a few preferences, so pages load quickly. Signing out clears most of it.
• Google Analytics sets its own cookies to count visits.

9. Security

Files travel over encrypted HTTPS connections and are stored encrypted on Google Cloud, in a private folder that belongs to your account. Download links expire after 60 minutes. No system is perfectly secure; if something goes wrong that affects your information, we will tell you promptly.

10. Children

PurposefulDeck is a business tool and is not meant for anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change matters, we will tell signed-in users before it takes effect.
