Which files can I upload?

PowerPoint files in PPTX, PPTM, PPSX, POTX or older PPT format, and PDFs. The limit is 120 slides or pages and 50 MB per deck. For the destination template, use PPTX or POTX. You can also choose a deck straight from OneDrive, SharePoint or Google Drive; a Google Slides deck chosen from Google Drive is saved as PowerPoint on the way.

A client template can be up to 50 MB. Files with a password, copy restrictions or rights management are refused before any credit is used; ask the owner for an unprotected copy.

If you only have a PDF, use one saved from PowerPoint ("Save as PDF" or "Export") rather than a scan or a printed copy.
