Do my charts keep their Excel data?

A chart copied from a PowerPoint file keeps its Excel data, including any other sheets in that workbook. The data travels inside the deck, so the chart is not linked to a file on someone's computer that can be moved or renamed. Charts rebuilt from pictures get new data made from the values printed on them. PurposefulDeck does not restyle charts or make chart types PowerPoint can't, such as Mekko or waterfall charts from a chart add-in.
